We’re looking for a tester who treats quality as engineering, not a checkbox. You’d own testing for one or two client engagements that run in production for years.
What you’d do
- Write and run test plans for real features before they ship.
- Build automated coverage (system/integration tests) where it earns its keep.
- Reproduce and triage production issues; turn each one into a regression test.
- Work directly with the engineers building the feature — no separate QA silo.
What we look for
- 3+ years testing web applications, manual and automated.
- Comfortable reading code and writing tests (Ruby/Minitest or similar a plus).
- Clear, specific bug reports — steps, expected, actual, evidence.
- A nose for the edge cases other people skip.

- Small commits, daily deploys; tests are part of the change, not a later phase.
- Two timezones (San Ramon + Bengaluru) with a US engagement lead.
